Welcome to RoleDrop – a smart job search platform designed for UK university students and recent graduates, with a focus on careers in finance and technology. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services. By using RoleDrop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

We may occasionally update these Terms. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above and notify you if appropriate. Continued use of RoleDrop means you accept the updated terms.

2. Eligibility & User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use RoleDrop.
• By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Please notify us at hello@mail.roledrop.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Users agree not to use RoleDrop for unlawful, harmful, or offensive purposes, or to upload content that violates any rights or laws.

3. Use of the Service

RoleDrop is intended for personal job search use only. You may not:

• Copy, scrape, or republish our content or job data without written permission
• Disrupt or misuse the platform’s functionality or infrastructure
• Use bots or automated systems to access or extract data

All intellectual property on RoleDrop belongs to us or our providers. Your use grants no ownership or licence unless explicitly stated.

4. Job Listings & External Content

RoleDrop aggregates job listings from third-party sources to help users discover opportunities.

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of any listing.
• Job applications are submitted externally; RoleDrop is not involved in the hiring or selection process.
• Always review the external site’s terms and privacy practices before submitting personal information.
• While we may occasionally highlight, research, or feature specific opportunities, inclusion on our platform does not imply endorsement or partnership.

5. Profile Information

Users can create profiles to enhance their experience (e.g., to receive alerts or save jobs). Information may include:

• Name, email, university or academic background
• Profile picture
• Job preferences and saved roles

We currently do not allow CV uploads or sensitive personal data.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Breach these Terms
• Attempt to misuse the service or platform

Users can delete their account at any time via the in-app settings.

7. Limitation of Liability

RoleDrop is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee:

• Availability or completeness of job listings
• Continuous access to the platform
• Successful outcomes from job applications

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to £50 or the amount you’ve paid in the past 12 months (if any).

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
